2. Hosting
AutoWeb Check runs on a server of Contabo GmbH (data centre in Germany). We use Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) for DNS and protection. Technically necessary data such as IP address, time and requested page are processed (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR – secure and stable operation). Cloudflare may also process data outside the EU on the basis of standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
3. User account
For an account we store your name, e-mail address and access data (only as a secure hash).
We also store your language, sign-in times and IP address to protect against misuse, e.g. a temporary block after repeated failed sign-ins.
Legal basis is the use of the service (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). You can delete your account at any time in the account settings. Accounts not used for 12 months are deleted automatically.
4. Website audits
When you audit an address, our server fetches that page once and analyses the source code and server response. Results are stored in your account: 3 days for guests, 30 days in a free account, then deleted. Please only audit websites you own or are authorised to check.
5. AI summary
If the AI summary is active, we send the technical audit results of the checked page (no account data) to OpenAI to create an easy-to-read summary. Data may be transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
6. E-mails
We send e-mails needed for your account, e.g. to confirm your address or to restore access. We may contact you once by e-mail with notes on your audit result (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). You can object at any time by writing to websolution@cockpitdekor.com.
7. Cookies
We only use technically necessary cookies, e.g. to keep you signed in and to store your cookie choice. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on AutoWeb Check.
Sign in with Google
If you sign in with Google, we only receive your name, e-mail address, profile picture and a Google identifier. We use this data solely to create your account and sign you in, and we get no access to your messages, contacts or documents.
This data is not sold, not shared, not used for advertising and not used to train AI models. It is deleted together with your account. Our use follows the Limited Use requirements of Google.
You can remove the connection at any time in your Google account under “Third-party apps and services”.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Contact websolution@cockpitdekor.com. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
The German version is legally binding. As of November 2026.
